Like most of the Northern Hemisphere this coming fall and winter, and a good chunk of the Southern Hemisphere this past Northern Hemisphere summer, the Alps of France/ Italy/ Switzerland/ Germany/ Austria is going to see a colder and more snowy fall and winter for 2019-2020. Cold air is pooling up in the polar regions, and unusually cold low pressure systems/ storms are being generated, and will move into the Alps as we move into the last days of September and October.
