COLD across western Colorado Monday and Tuesday, lingering very light snow Monday, plenty of sun on Tuesday, warming Wednesday, dense moisture-laden snow late Thursday and Friday, mostly light for Aspen-Snowmass, lighter for northern resorts like Winter Park, and HEAVY for southwest Colorado, then a mostly sunny weekend.!

Posted Oct 27, 2018 -?A relatively warm storm system is moving in for today and Sunday with showers all across southern British Columbia and southwest Alberta, starting out heavy right now,?Saturday night, for the Vancouver, BC area:

The next several days to before Halloween look like this in terms of precipitation:

And?here is how snowfall is looking for now through just after the 10th of November: (45 to 90cm of snow (18" to 36") is possible in the next 16 days for areas 1,200 to 1,500+ meters in elevation (4,000 to 5,000 feet), which includes many resorts base to top!)

Halloween Snow for Aspen, Colorado, and it could be heavy on the mountain!
Pre-Halloween weather will be turning "scary" for gardners and exciting for skiers and boarders!

A strong system will blast in from the northwest Monday and Tuesday, hitting the Pacific Northwest and north Idaho, northwest Montana on Sunday, then southern Idaho including Sun Valley and Bogus Basin late Sunday and Monday, probably on the order of?1-2" for Sun Valley and Bogus Basin, maybe a bit more on the summits, and COLD weather.


Monday and into Tuesday we expect snow across northwest Wyoming and northern Utah

On Tuesday we see snow showers develop across Colorado and in Aspen-Snowmass, with a few inches in the town of?Aspen on Tuesday and Wednesday, over 1/2 foot up on the mountain....More
