Monday and Tuesday we expect now Hurricane Rosa to be weakened and the remnants move into Colorado, for some good soaking showers across the region starting after another warm day on Monday, starting o Tuesday mainly, and including Aspen-Snowmass... Snow levels bottom out above 11,000 feet and mostly around 12,000 feet (some heavy snow is possible at these elevations (picture time!)).

Wednesday Clears out a bit with 2 approaching storms, the first from the west after sitting and modifying over warmer water moves in Thursday with some rain in Aspen and snow to 9,500+ feet, and the next which has less over water time (less warming) and moves in faster from the northwest, is set to drop some wet snow flakes in Aspen on Friday, measurable snow to 9,000 feet there also, and Summit/ Grand County areas should see their first top to bottom measurable snowfall of the season at all I-70 ski resorts east of Vail Pass!

Longer Range: More cold storms, progressively colder, are expected to move in frequently from the Gulf of Alaska and Canada, with air masses originating in Siberia, which is especially cold right now. More coming, a snowy October is likely. Stay tuned! CM
