This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for Western and Central Wyoming. .DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight. Snow intensity increases by mid-afternoon Friday across western Wyoming, with occasional snowfall rates of 1 to 2 inches per hour in the mountains through early Friday evening. Light snow then spreads to Sweetwater County and I-80 overnight. Please see Winter Weather Advisory and forecasts for details. Gusty to occasional strong southwest wind likely across many locations east of the Continental Divide. Isolated gusts around 60 mph possible along the east slopes of the Bighorn Mountains Friday afternoon. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday. Saturday and Saturday night...Snow continues across the western Wyoming mountains. A cold front pushes south across the state and temporarily brings an end to the unseasonably warm weather. Light snow occurs over the lower elevations east of the Continental Divide overnight into Sunday morning.
