...FLOOD WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT THROUGH WEDNESDAY MORNING...
* WHAT...Flooding caused by rain and snowmelt continues to be
possible.
* WHERE...In Wisconsin, Ashland, Bayfield and Iron Counties. This
includes the Tribal Lands of the Bad River Reservation, the
northwestern county of the Lac du Flambeau Band and the Red Cliff
Band. Other locations including Madeline Island and the Apostle
Islands National Lakeshore.
* WHEN...Through Wednesday morning.
* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- Around 1 to 3 inches of rain is expected to fall over several
inches of lingering snowpack along the South Shore of Lake
Superior. Areas of minor flooding are possible in the
Bayfield Peninsula and east over northern Ashland and Iron
counties.

You should monitor later forecasts and be alert for possible Flood
Warnings. Those living in areas prone to flooding should be prepared

Large hail would be the primary threat. Areas of dense fog persists, with the best coverage in the Arrowhead. Rain falling on melting snow pack may lead to minor flooding for area rivers along the North and South Shore, particularly the South Shore. A Flood Watch is in effect for Bayfield, Ashland, and Iron Counties. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday A second round of severe storms Monday afternoon and evening may bring very large hail to inland northwest Wisconsin and east- central Minnesota. There is also a potential for damaging wind gusts and heavy rainfall in northwest Wisconsin. The continued rounds of showers may lead to an increased flood threat, especially over South Shore rivers. Another round of thunderstorms is possible Tuesday and again Wednesday. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...
