Lake effect showers are likely Friday, mainly during the morning and afternoon hours, with decreasing chances Friday night into Saturday. 1 to 2 inches of accumulation are expected for lakeshore areas. Locally higher amounts of 2 to 4 inches are possible if the snow bands persist for a longer period of time in any particular location. Lighter snow accumulations up to a half an inch are possible for areas farther inland. Light snow accumulations are likely across southern Wisconsin later Sunday into Sunday night .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT... Spotter activation will not be needed. $$
