Hazardous Weather Outlook National Weather Service Milwaukee/Sullivan WI 1238 AM CDT Sun Mar 15 2026 WIZ046-047-051-052-056>060-062>072-160545- Marquette-Green Lake-Fond du Lac-Sheboygan-Sauk-Columbia-Dodge- Washington-Ozaukee-Iowa-Dane-Jefferson-Waukesha-Milwaukee- Lafayette-Green-Rock-Walworth-Racine-Kenosha- 1238 AM CDT Sun Mar 15 2026 This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of east central Wisconsin, south central Wisconsin and southeast Wisconsin. .DAY ONE...Today and Tonight A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect north of the Interstate 94 corridor, for 1 to 3 inches of snow and up to an tenth of an inch of ice accumulation into this morning. Temperatures will warm above freezing around midday, allowing for a brief transition to rain. Thunderstorms capable of hail are possible this morning into this afternoon, mainly along and south of a Lone Rock to Mequon line. A Winter Storm Warning has been issued from late this afternoon onward across southwestern to east-central Wisconsin. Upwards of a glaze of ice is possible, as well as a transition to snowfall by the overnight hours. Wind gusts of 45 to 50 mph will lead to blowing and drifting snow by the overnight hours. A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect for Ozaukee, Waukesha, Milwaukee, Walworth, Racine, and Kenosha Counties tonight for a mix of freezing rain, sleet, and snow transitioning to all snow during the late overnight hours. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday A Winter Storm Warning remains in effect through Monday afternoon across southwestern to east-central Wisconsin for continuing snowfall and wind gusts of 45 to 50 mph bringing blowing snow and low visibility. Snow accumulations between 5 and 10 inches are expected. A Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect for Ozaukee, Waukesha, Milwaukee, Walworth, Racine, and Kenosha Counties through Monday afternoon for continuing snow. Expecting 1 to 3 inches of snowfall in these regions.
