This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of northeast
Minnesota and northwest Wisconsin.

.DAY ONE...This afternoon and Tonight

Hot and muggy conditions the rest of today with Heat Advisories
in effect for most of the area through sunset aside from north-
central Wisconsin. Extreme Heat Warnings start up late this
evening and tonight for most of the Northland due to little relief
from heat as overnight temperatures only drop into the mid 60s to
low 70s.

Isolated non severe thunderstorms are possible late this
afternoon into tonight. Severe storms are not expected, but a few
storms may become strong this afternoon and evening in north-
central and far northern Minnesota with small hail, gusty winds up
to 40 mph, and brief downpours as the main hazards.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday

Dangerous heat is forecast through Tuesday. Extreme Heat Warnings
are in effect through Sunday and Monday for all but Price County,
which is in a Heat Advisory for Sunday. Heat Advisories and
Warnings may also be needed on Tuesday for portions of the
Northland.

Breezy southwest winds, low relative humidities, and hot
conditions each day from Sunday through Tuesday will likely lead
to near-critical to critical fire weather conditions from north-
central Minnesota east into the Arrowhead. Fire Weather Watches
are in effect for Sunday and Monday.

A very conditional threat for an isolated strong to severe storm
or two is possible for Sunday afternoon and evening. If storms can
form, the Arrowhead into parts of Northwest Wisconsin could see
ping pong ball size hail and damaging wind gusts to 60 mph.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Skywarn spotters are encouraged to report hail of any size and
rainfall amounts to the National Weather Service.
