In combination with these strong wind gusts, accumulating snow near and north of Interstate 90 will result in slippery road conditions and visibility reductions. Winds will be strongest in southeast Minnesota and on ridgetops. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday Northwest wind gusts 40 to 50 mph are expected Wednesday, strongest west of the Mississippi River. Additional morning snow will bring snow totals to 1-4 inches along the I-90 corridor, north to I-94. Higher amounts of 2-5 inches are expected north of I-94. The snow will end from west to east Wednesday afternoon. Wind Advisories and Winter Weather Advisories have been issued. Accumulating snow is looking likely for Friday night and Saturday with probabilities increasing (50-70%) for over 6 inch totals near and south of Interstate 94.
