Additional snow accumulations up to three inches. Storm total amounts will be 6 to 12 inches in Ulster and western Dutchess Counties with 10 to 20 inches for eastern Dutchess and Litchfield Counties. Winds gusting as high as 40 mph. * WHERE...Ulster and Dutchess Counties in eastern New York and Litchfield County in northwestern Connecticut. * WHEN...Until 7 PM EST this evening. * IMPACTS...Travel will continue to be very dangerous and difficult. The dangerous conditions will impact evening commute. Gusty winds could bring down tree limbs and power lines in addition to causing blowing and drifting snowfall. Visibility will drop below 1 mile at times early this afternoon. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...A powerful nor`easter will be departing the region today with snowfall winding down this afternoon from west to east.
