...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 2 PM THIS
AFTERNOON TO 2 PM EDT SATURDAY...

* WHAT...Snow expected. Total snow accumulations between 2 and 6
  inches. Winds gusting as high as 40 mph.

* WHERE...In New York, the northern Adirondacks. In Vermont, Eastern
  Rutland and Western Windsor Counties.

* WHEN...From 2 PM this afternoon to 2 PM EDT Saturday.

* IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous
  conditions could impact the Friday evening commute. Gusty winds
  could bring down tree branches.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...The heaviest snow is expected between 8 PM
  this evening and Midnight Saturday.

A strong cold front will pass through the region early next week with
strong wind gusts. South winds are likely to gust up to 50 MPH across
the northern Champlain Valley and downslope regions of the northern
Adirondacks beginning late Sunday Night into Monday. Wind gusts
between 30 and 40 MPH are likely elsewhere.
