Highest additional accumulations up to 3 inches will be in the higher elevations of northern Iron County. A Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect until midnight tonight for Iron County. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday A strong clipper system will move across the region Monday evening through Tuesday, bringing accumulating snow to a large portion of the Northland. Areas along and east of US-53 in northeast Minnesota have the best chance for seeing at least 2 inches of snowfall Monday evening through Tuesday evening. The North Shore, especially northeast of Silver Bay, and nearby inland areas have the potential to see higher amounts exceeding 4 inches. A Winter Storm Watch has been issued for southern Cook County where snowfall accumulations in excess of 6 inches are possible. Travel impacts due to heavy snow rates and reduced visibility are likely for the Tuesday morning and Tuesday PM commutes. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...
