This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of northeast
Minnesota and northwest Wisconsin.

.DAY ONE...This afternoon and Tonight

Strong to severe storms are possible this evening mainly west and
south of the Iron Range in Minnesota. The main hazards with
severe storms are hail up two inches, wind gusts to 70 mph, and
locally heavy rain which could lead to ponding of water on roads.
An isolated tornado cannot be ruled out in Crow Wing and Cass
Counties. Strong northeast winds today over western Lake Superior
will create a risk of rip currents at the beaches of the Twin
Ports.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday

Strong northeast winds Friday, and Saturday over western Lake
Superior will create a risk of rip currents at the beaches of the
Twin Ports.

Additional rounds of thunderstorms are forecast Friday through
Tuesday night. While a few storms during that time may be strong
to severe, widespread severe weather is not expected at this
time. Heavy rainfall is possible Sunday PM.

Skywarn spotters are encouraged to report hail of any size, wind
damage and rainfall amounts to the National Weather Service.
