This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of northeast
Minnesota and northwest Wisconsin.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

There is a 10 to 30 percent chance of a few thunderstorms today
south of a line from Northome to Virginia to Two Harbors and over
all of northwest Wisconsin. Occasional cloud-to-ground lightning
will be the greatest risk. Small hail up to dime size is possible
south of a line from Brainerd to Park Falls.

Strong northeast winds will increase the threat of rip currents
today through this evening for areas near the Twin Ports,
including the beaches of Duluth and Superior. A Beach Hazards
Statement has been issued for these areas.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday

Strong northeast winds will continue to pose a risk of rip
currents Friday for areas near the Twin Ports, including the
beaches of Duluth and Superior. A Beach Hazards Statement will
likely be needed for these areas.

There are additional chances for isolated to scattered
thunderstorms on a daily basis through this weekend. Severe
weather is not anticipated at this time.

Skywarn spotter activation is not anticipated today or tonight.
