Southwest to west winds gusting 30-45 mph are expected through this evening. Winds combined with low relative humidity will result in Very High to Extreme Grassland Fire Danger. Please avoid burning outdoors today. Isolated to scattered showers and thunderstorms are possible this afternoon and evening. Greatest risk is damaging wind gusts to 60 mph. Winds tonight become northwesterly and increase to 55-65 mph with isolated gusts to 75 mph possible.
