This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of northeast
Minnesota and northwest Wisconsin.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

Warm and humid conditions are forecast today across portions of
central Minnesota, the I-35 corridor, and northwest Wisconsin.
Heat Index values will reach the low 90s and there is a risk of
heat-related illness. A Heat Advisory is in effect for the areas
where conditions will be hazardous.

Thunderstorms are forecast to move out of the Dakotas and into
central Minnesota tonight. Some of the storms may be strong to
severe with wind gusts up to 70 mph and hail up to the size of
quarters. Depending on and when the storms develop, they might
remain south of the Northland.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday

Additional rounds of thunderstorms are forecast Friday through
the holiday weekend and into next week. A few storms may be
strong.

Strong northeast winds will increase the threat of rip currents
on Independence Day for areas near the Twin Ports, including the
beaches of Duluth and Superior.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Skywarn spotters may be needed tonight over portions of central
Minnesota into northwest Wisconsin.
