This hazardous weather outlook is for Eastern Upper Michigan and
Northern Lower Michigan.

.DAY ONE...This afternoon and tonight.

Locally dense fog remains possible through this evening,
particularly across the eastern upper peninsula and near the Lake
Huron shoreline of northeast lower Michigan.

A wintry mix of precipitation, including snow, sleet and freezing
rain, is expected to impact portions of northern Michigan beginning
tonight. Please see the latest Winter Storm Warnings and Winter
Weather Advisories for additional details.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday.

A wintry mix of precipitation, including snow, sleet and freezing
rain, will continue to impact portions of northern Michigan
on Wednesday. Impactful snow and icing is expected. Please see

additional details.

Another round of wintry precipitation is possible during the late
Thursday into Friday time frame.

...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 1 AM TO 7 PM EST
WEDNESDAY...

* WHAT...Mixed precipitation expected. Total snow and sleet
  accumulations of 1 to 4 inches. In addition, ice accumulations
  between one tenth and one quarter of an inch. Winds gusting as
  high as 35 mph.

* WHERE...A portion of Northern Lower Michigan.

* WHEN...From 1 AM to 7 PM EST Wednesday.

* IMPACTS...Roads, and especially bridges and overpasses, will
  likely become slick and hazardous. Power outages and tree damage
  is possible due to the ice. The hazardous conditions could impact
  the Wednesday morning and evening commutes.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Slow down and use caution while traveling.

Be prepared for slippery roads. Slow down and use caution while
driving. If you are going outside, watch your first few steps taken
on stairs, sidewalks, and driveways. These surfaces could be icy and
slippery, increasing your risk of a fall and injury.
