A period of light freezing rain/ drizzle is expected to continue through early afternoon across much of northern lower Michigan. A significant winter storm is expected to impact the area tonight and Monday, bringing with it gusty winds and accumulating snow. The greatest potential for significant snow is across eastern upper Michigan and the traditional snow belt locations of northwest lower Michigan. Significant ice accumulations from freezing rain are expected across eastern upper Michigan Sunday evening as well.
