This hazardous weather outlook is for southeast Michigan.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

Areas of light freezing drizzle early this morning transition to all
snow. Snow continues for the remainder of the morning with
accumulations around one inch for most areas. Totals nearing two
inches possible south of I-96.

A few snow squalls are possible later this afternoon with an arctic
cold frontal passage. Northwest winds ramp up and gust 30-40 MPH
with the front through early tonight. Temperatures reaching mid 30s
early this afternoon will plummet this evening and night, bottoming
out in the -5 to +5 F range. Wind chills 15 to 20 degrees below zero
are likely with all of SE MI under a Cold Weather Advisory tonight.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday

A Cold Weather Advisory remains in effect through Saturday morning
for wind chills 15 to 20 below zero.

...COLD WEATHER ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 8 PM THIS EVENING TO NOON
EST SATURDAY...

* WHAT...Very cold wind chills as low as 20 below zero expected.

* WHERE...Genesee, Huron, Lapeer, Livingston, Macomb, Oakland,
  Sanilac, St. Clair, and Tuscola Counties.

* WHEN...From 8 PM this evening to noon EST Saturday.

* IMPACTS...The dangerously cold wind chills as low as 20 below zero
  could cause frostbite on exposed skin in as little as 30 minutes.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Use caution while traveling outside. Wear appropriate clothing, a
hat, and gloves.

Make frequent checks on older family, friends, and neighbors. Ensure
portable heaters are used correctly. Do not use generators inside.
