.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

Lake effect snow showers will continue today. While only a couple
inches of snow accumulation is possible, the snow will be very
effective at sharply reducing visibility. In addition, the fine
snow on the roads will be easily kicked up by passing vehicles,
further reducing visibility.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday

A widespread light to moderate snowfall is possible Monday night
into late Tuesday.

A bitterly cold arctic air mass will surge into the area Thursday
afternoon into Friday night. Expect dangerously cold conditions
with the potential of frequent white-out conditions in lake
effect snow and blowing snow.

Spotters are encouraged to submit snowfall reports to the National
Weather Service via phone, on our website, or through social media
via Facebook or Twitter.
