A light wintry mix will advance into northern lower Michigan very late tonight. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday. Wintry precipitation will overspread northern Michigan Thursday morning. Warming temperatures in the afternoon and evening will turn precipitation to mostly rain. However, light to moderate accumulations of ice are expected across much of northern Michigan. Snow and sleet accumulations will be possible, mainly in eastern upper Michigan. See the ongoing Winter Storm Watch for additional information. Thunderstorms are possible late Thursday into Thursday night. There is a chance for severe thunderstorms Thursday night in northern lower Michigan.
