Light snow and freezing drizzle will continue into this morning. This will be followed by the passage of an arctic cold front later this morning into early this afternoon that will bring a burst of snow and strong wind gusts of 30 to 40mph+, resulting in hazardous travel due to visibility reductions owing to blowing snow. Sharply colder temperatures will move into northern Michigan in the wake of this frontal passage, resulting in air temperatures falling below zero and dangerously wind chills tonight into Saturday morning.
