This hazardous weather outlook is for Eastern Upper Michigan and
Northern Lower Michigan.

.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.

A light wintry mix will advance into northern lower Michigan very
late tonight.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday.

Wintry precipitation will overspread northern Michigan Thursday
morning. Warming temperatures in the afternoon and evening will
turn precipitation to mostly rain. However, light to moderate
accumulations of ice are expected across much of northern
Michigan. Snow and sleet accumulations will be possible, mainly
in eastern upper Michigan. See the ongoing Winter Storm Watch for
additional information.

Thunderstorms are possible late Thursday into Thursday night.
There is a chance for severe thunderstorms Thursday night in
northern lower Michigan. Damaging wind gusts are the main threat,
though large hail, a tornado or two, and very heavy rain are all
possible.

...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 8 AM TO 6 PM EDT
THURSDAY...

* WHAT...Mixed precipitation expected. Total snow accumulations up
  to one inch and ice accumulations of one tenth to one quarter of
  an inch. Winds gusting as high as 35 mph.

* WHERE...A portion of Northern Lower Michigan.

* WHEN...From 8 AM to 6 PM EDT Thursday.

* IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous
  conditions could impact the Thursday morning commute.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Slow down and use caution while traveling. Prepare for possible
power outages.
