...WINTER STORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 10 AM THIS MORNING TO
7 PM EST THIS EVENING...

* WHAT...Heavy snow and blowing snow expected. Total snow
  accumulations between 4 and 8 inches. Winds gusting as high as 40
  mph.

* WHERE...Alger, Delta, Luce, Northern Schoolcraft, and Southern
  Schoolcraft Counties.

* WHEN...From 10 AM this morning to 7 PM EST this evening.

* IMPACTS...Visibilities may drop below 1/4 mile due to falling and
  blowing snow. Travel could be very difficult. Widespread blowing
  snow will significantly reduce visibility. The hazardous
  conditions will impact the Tuesday evening commute. Gusty winds
  could bring down tree branches.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...The highest snowfall amounts are expected to
  be along and east of a line from Munising to Rapid River. Snowfall
  rates of 1 inch per hour are expected for several hours during the
  afternoon.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If you must travel, keep an extra flashlight, food, and water in
your vehicle in case of an emergency. Prepare for possible power
outages.

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of central Upper
Michigan and western Upper Michigan.

Widespread snow across the U.P. today. See the latest Winter
Storm Warnings and Winter Weather Advisories for additional
information.

Lake effect snow will develop late tonight into Wednesday
for the western UP and the north half of the eastern UP, with
moderate snow accumulation and locally reduced visibilities.
Additional Winter Weather Advisories will likely be needed.
