This hazardous weather outlook is for Eastern Upper Michigan and
Northern Lower Michigan.

.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.

Accumulating lake effect snow is expected to continue today into
tonight across portions of northern lower and eastern upper
Michigan. Please see the latest Winter Weather Advisory for
additional details.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday.

Accumulating snow is expected again Thursday night into Friday
night, especially in northwest lower Michigan.

...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 7 AM EST
THURSDAY...

* WHAT...Lake effect snow. Additional snow accumulations between 2
  and 6 inches, with locally higher amounts expected. Winds gusting
  as high as 40 mph will produce periods of blowing and drifting
  snow.

* WHERE...Benzie, Grand Traverse, Leelanau, Manistee, and Wexford
  Counties.

* WHEN...Until 7 AM EST Thursday.

* IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions and times of near
  whiteout conditions from blowing snow.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Slow down and use caution while traveling.

During lake effect snow, the weather can vary from bands of locally
heavy snow to dry weather just a few miles away. Visibilities can
also vary greatly. Be prepared for rapid changes in weather,
visibility, and road conditions.
