Northern Lower Michigan.

Accumulating snow and gusty winds are expected tonight into
Friday. Please see ongoing advisories for additional details.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday.

Confidence continues to increase for a significant and
potentially high impact winter storm across northern Michigan
later Saturday night through Monday. Significant snow and ice
accumulations are possible, along with very gusty winds.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation is not anticipated, but any reports of ice,
sleet, and/or snow are appreciated.

...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 2 PM EDT FRIDAY...

* WHAT...Snow expected. Total snow accumulations between 3 and 6
  inches. Winds gusting as high as 40 mph.

* WHERE...A portion of Northern Lower Michigan.

* WHEN...Until 2 PM EDT Friday.

* IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult. The hazardous conditions
  could impact the Friday morning commute. Gusty winds could bring
  down tree branches.
