Moderate to heavy snowfall spreads across Northern Michigan

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday.

A high impact winter storm will continue across portions of
Northern Michigan Sunday through Monday. Significant snow and ice
accumulations are possible, along with very gusty winds. Please

...WINTER STORM WARNING IN EFFECT FROM 2 AM SUNDAY TO 8 PM EDT
MONDAY...

* WHAT...Heavy mixed precipitation expected. Total snow and sleet
  accumulations between 6 and 14 inches and ice accumulations
  between one tenth and one half of an inch. Winds gusting as high
  as 45 mph.

* WHERE...A portion of Northern Lower Michigan.

* WHEN...From 2 AM Sunday to 8 PM EDT Monday.

* IMPACTS...Power outages and tree damage are possible due to the
  ice. Travel could be nearly impossible. The hazardous conditions
  could impact the Monday morning and evening commutes. Gusty winds
  could bring down tree branches.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If you must travel, keep an extra flashlight, food, and water in
your vehicle in case of an emergency.
