southwest Maine, west central Maine, western Maine, New Hampshire,
central New Hampshire, northern New Hampshire and southern New
Hampshire.

.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.

Briefly heavy snow showers or squalls are possible today. These may
bring about low visibility and gusty winds. Light accumulations may
make roadways slick, and holiday travel could be impacted.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday.

Hazardous weather is not expected at this time.

east central Oxford...north central Androscoggin and southeastern
Franklin Counties...

At 1140 AM EST...An area of heavy snow showers was 9 miles southwest
of Canton, or 11 miles southeast of Rumford...moving east AT 30 MPH.

Locations impacted include...
Jay, Livermore, Fayette, Livermore Falls, Chesterville, Mount Vernon,
Readfield, Sumner, Vienna, Hartford, Canton, Peru, Wayne, West Paris,
Dixfield, Rome, Milton, Buckfield, Woodstock, and Leeds.

This also includes...
  Mount Zircon.

  * Visibilities will drop quickly to less than a half mile in this
  area of heavy snow showers.

Travel is not advised during these heavy snow showers. Rapid
visibility reduction and potentially icy roads are likely to lead to
accidents. Consider delaying travel until the snow showers pass your
location. If traveling pull off to a safe location.
