...FLOOD WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 6 AM EDT FRIDAY...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be
  possible.

* WHERE...Portions of northern Connecticut, including the following
  area, Windham County. In Massachusetts, including the following
  areas, Barnstable, Bristol, Dukes, Essex, Middlesex, Nantucket,
  Norfolk,  Plymouth, Suffolk and Worcester Counties. And in Rhode
  Island, including the following areas, Bristol, Kent, Newport,
  Providence RI and Washington Counties.

* WHEN...Until 6 AM EDT Friday.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
  creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
  Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks. Flooding may occur
  in poor drainage and urban areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - Rainfall totals between 1 and 2.5 inches will be common
    across the region. Heaviest will be across eastern MA, where
    a few locations may receive up to 3 inches of rain.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

You should monitor later forecasts and be alert for possible Flood
Warnings. Those living in areas prone to flooding should be prepared
to take action should flooding develop.
