This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of north central
Illinois...northwest Illinois...west central Illinois...east
central Iowa...northeast Iowa...southeast Iowa and northeast
Missouri.

.DAY ONE...THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT

Showers and thunderstorms are expected overnight across the
outlook area. Isolated strong to severe storms are possible with
lightning, small hail, and damaging wind gusts the main threat
mainly west of the Mississippi River.

Area rivers are experiencing flooding. Please see the
latest Flood Statements and Flood Warnings for details.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...MONDAY THROUGH SATURDAY

A storm system moving across the area Monday will bring the risk
of strong to severe storms to the area during the afternoon and
evening hours. There is an Enhanced (level 3 out of 5) Risk across
most of the outlook area. All modes of severe weather are
possible, including tornadoes, large hail, and damaging winds.
Thunderstorms will rapidly move northeast around 50 mph in the
afternoon and evening.
