...COLD WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL NOON CST SUNDAY...

* WHAT...Very cold wind chills as low as 20 to 30 below zero
  expected.

* WHERE...Portions of north central, northwest, and west central
  Illinois, east central, northeast, and southeast Iowa, and
  northeast Missouri.

* WHEN...Until noon CST Sunday.

* IMPACTS...The dangerously cold wind chills of 20 to 30 below zero
  could cause frostbite on exposed skin in as little as 20 to 30
  minutes. Wind chill values this low can lead to hypothermia with
  prolonged exposure.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Wear appropriate clothing, including dressing in layers, a hat, and
gloves.

Keep pets indoors as much as possible.

Make frequent checks on older family, friends, and neighbors. Ensure
portable heaters are used correctly.

.DAY ONE...TONIGHT

Dangerously cold wind chills of 20 below to 30 below zero will
develop tonight and persist into Sunday. A Cold Weather Advisory
remains in effect areawide.

The very cold temperatures and northwest winds will combine with
the recent snowfall to keep roads slick tonight.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SUNDAY THROUGH FRIDAY

Dangerously cold wind chills of 20 below to 30 below zero will
continue until midday Sunday.

Wind chills could dip to around 20 below zero Sunday evening
before temperatures begin to rise overnight Sunday night.
