The strong winds will then spread eastward through the evening across the rest of the Outlook Area. The Winds are then expected to switch to the west after Midnight and gust even higher up to 60 MPH through Friday early afternoon. A High Wind Warning is in effect tonight through Friday afternoon for areas from Belle Plain through Aledo Illinois northward. A Wind Advisory is in effect across portions the area south of that line. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...FRIDAY THROUGH WEDNESDAY There is the potential for a large storm system to impact portions of the Midwest with rain, snow, blowing snow, and strong winds from Saturday night into Monday.
