This hazardous weather outlook is for northeast and north central
Colorado.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

Heavy snow will continue this morning in the mountains,
especially in the northern Gore and Park Ranges. Considerable
blowing snow will occur over the higher mountain passes and above
timberline, creating poor visibility and hazardous travel
conditions. By the afternoon, snow will decrease in coverage and
intensity and snow will come to an end tonight.

A couple bands of snow will likely spread onto the northern plains
mainly in northern Weld and Logan Counties. There will be light
snow accumulation that is likely less than inch.

Strong winds are expected today in the Front Range mountains and
foothills. Gusts up to 65 mph are possible late this morning and
through the afternoon.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday

A system will bring another round of accumulating snow to the
mountains this weekend. Light snow is expected across the plains.

Another system could bring widespread light snow to our forecast
area on Tuesday. Temperatures Tuesday night and through the end of
next week may be well below normal.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation will not be needed today or tonight. However,
any reports of accumulating snow will be appreciated.
