Wintry conditions will wind down this morning, with scattered flurries along the Continental Divide into mid-day. Additional snow accumulations will be negligible. Cooler temperatures settle across the region tonight as skies clear and mountain basins drop into the low teens and isolated single digits near fresh snowpack. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday. Mountain snow returns to most of our mountain passes on Sunday and into Monday morning. This is expected to pose some travel hazards on mountain roadways across the West Slope. Additional snow returns midweek. Model guidance is still inconsistent on amounts and impacts. Temperatures remain on the cool side of climatology through the period. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT... Spotter activation is not expected today or tonight, however spotters are encouraged to report snowfall amounts to the National Weather Service in Grand Junction. $$
