This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for northwest Colorado, southwest
Colorado, west central Colorado, east central Utah, northeast Utah
and southeast Utah.

.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.

Widespread snow is expected Christmas Day with accumulations
generally from 2 to 5 inches with slightly higher amounts over the
southern San Juan Mountains. Locally higher amounts up to 8 inches
are possible over favored peaks and ridges of the southwest San Juan
Mountains.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday.

A series of disturbances will keep periodic snow in the picture each
day through early next week.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation is not expected today or tonight, however
spotters are encouraged to report snowfall amounts to the
National Weather Service in Grand Junction.
