Moderate to heavy snow rates and strong winds will be impacting travel across the northern and central Colorado high country. Accumulating snow and gusts to 35 to 55 mph will create areas of blowing and drifting snow. Lesser amounts are expected across the southern mountains but some impact to travel over Highway 550 is expected. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday. The northern and portions of the central Colorado mountains are likely to see additional periods of light to moderate snow showers through the upcoming work week.
