...Gusty North to East Winds into this Afternoon...

.Gusty northerly winds have developed over northern California
this morning as a system passes to our northeast. The strongest
winds will be over the west side of the Sacramento Valley, Coastal
Range foothills, and Sierra gaps, canyons, and peaks this morning.

...WIND ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 11 AM PDT FRIDAY...

* WHAT...Areas of northeast to east winds 20 to 35 mph with gusts
  to 50 mph. Gusts in northeast/southwest-oriented canyons/gaps
  up to 60 mph.

* WHERE...Northeast Foothills, Western Plumas County and West
  Slopes Sierra Nevada.

* WHEN...From 2 AM to 11 AM PDT Friday.

* IMPACTS...Gusty winds could blow around unsecured objects.
  Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may
  result. Gusty winds could impact high profile vehicles.
