Sleet and minor snow accumulations are also expected across northern Wisconsin today. Freezing rain and icing are also expected from the Fox Valley to the lakeshore this morning. Power outages and broken tree limbs are also likely, especially north and west of the Fox Valley, due to easterly winds gusting to 30 to 40 mph. Hazardous travel is expected with impacts to the morning commute, and evening commute across northern Wisconsin. Thunderstorms, some possibly strong to severe, are possible late this afternoon and evening, mainly for east-central Wisconsin, including the Fox Valley and lakeshore areas, from 6 pm to 10 pm. If strong storms develop, damaging winds and hail will be the main threats. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday A system will bring a wintry mix to northern Wisconsin Friday night into Saturday.
