This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for north-central and northeast
Wisconsin.

.DAY ONE...Tonight

Hazardous travel is expected due to accumulating snowfall and
strong winds. The highest snowfall totals of 5 to 9 inches will
be north of Highway 29, lesser amounts south. Visibility may be
limited at times due to blowing and drifting snow. Winter Storm
Warnings and Winter Weather Advisories are in effect for areas
across northern Wisconsin.

Strong winds are expected with periodic gusts up to 40 to 50 mph.
A Wind Advisory is in effect across much of central to east-
central Wisconsin.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Thursday

Hazardous travel conditions will continue Friday morning from
overnight snowfall. Gusty winds will continue Friday, gusting to
40 to 45 mph, causing rapid reductions in visibility due to patchy
blowing and drifting snow. Hazardous travel is expected for the
Friday morning commute, especially north of Highway 29 where the
greatest snowfall is expected.

A major snow storm event is expected Saturday night through
Monday with a 70 to 95% probability of snowfall amounts of at
least 12 inches across the area, accompanied by strong winds.
Those with travel plans, including air travel, should monitor the
weather closely and make alternative plans. A Winter Storm Watch
has been issued for the entire area.
