This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for northern New York, central
Vermont, northeast Vermont, northwest Vermont and southern Vermont.

.DAY ONE...This afternoon and tonight.

Hazardous weather is not expected at this time.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday.

A warmup is expected through the end of the workweek. The warmest day
will be Friday, when highs will be in the upper 80s to low 90s and
dewpoints will reach into the upper 60s to around 70. This will
result in heat indices in the mid 80s to mid 90s. Heat Advisories may
be needed given early season impacts.

The National Weather Service in Burlington has extended the

* Flash Flood Warning for...
  Northeastern Washington County in central Vermont...
  Northwestern Caledonia County in northeastern Vermont...
  Southwestern Orleans County in northeastern Vermont...
  Southeastern Lamoille County in northwestern Vermont...

* Until midnight EDT tonight.

* At 956 PM EDT, emergency management reported flash flooding in
  Wolcott. East Hill Road is washed out near Young Road and is
  impassable. Additional thunderstorms capable of producing
  torrential rainfall are expected through midnight tonight.
  Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1 inch are possible in the
  warned area. Flash flooding is already occurring.

  HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by heavy rain.

  SOURCE...Emergency management reported.

  IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban
           areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as
           other poor drainage and low-lying areas.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
  Wolcott, Elmore, Woodbury, Hardwick, Craftsbury, Greensboro,
  Morristown, Lake Elmore and Elmore State Park.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Please report observed flooding to local emergency services or law
enforcement and request they pass this information to the National
Weather Service when you can do so safely.
