This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for northwest Iowa, west central
Iowa, southwest Minnesota, northeast Nebraska, central South
Dakota, east central South Dakota, south central South Dakota and
southeast South Dakota.

.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.

A early winter system moves through the region bringing rain and
accumulating snow to the region. Snowfall totals generally one to
three inches, highest between Sioux Falls to Sioux City and across
northwestern Iowa. Locally higher amounts are possible in
northwestern Iowa. Be prepared for winter travel conditions.

Strong wind gusts up to 40 mph are expected this afternoon across
south central South Dakota.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday.

An influx of colder air over the weekend will lead to wind chills in
the single digits to teens Sunday and Monday mornings.

* WHAT...Snow expected. General snow accumulations of 1 to 3 inches
  with localized higher amounts. The higher snow amounts are most
  likely between Sioux Falls and Sioux City into northwestern Iowa.

* WHERE...Portions of northwest and west central Iowa, southwest
  Minnesota, and southeast South Dakota.

* WHEN...Until noon CST today.

* IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions.
