...FLOOD WATCH IN EFFECT THROUGH THIS EVENING...

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for western Pennsylvania and
northern West Virginia.

.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.

Internet for more information about the following hazards.

   Flood Watch.

Also, there is a Marginal Risk, or level 1 out of 5, for severe
thunderstorms this afternoon and evening. The main hazard is expected
to be damaging wind gusts.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday.

Thunderstorms could produce strong wind gusts on Saturday. In
addition, locally heavy rainfall could result in localized flash
flooding.

An active pattern is then expected through early next week with
periodic showers and thunderstorms, and the potential for locally
heavy rainfall at times.

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is possible.

* WHERE...Portions of Pennsylvania, including the following areas,
  Allegheny, Armstrong, Beaver, Butler, Clarion, Fayette, Forest,
  Greene, Higher Elevations of Fayette, Higher Elevations of
  Indiana, Higher Elevations of Westmoreland, Indiana, Jefferson PA,
  Lawrence, Mercer, Venango, Washington and Westmoreland and West
  Virginia, including the following areas, Brooke, Eastern Preston,
  Eastern Tucker, Hancock, Marion, Marshall, Monongalia, Ohio,
  Preston, Ridges of Eastern Monongalia and Northwestern Preston,
  Western Tucker and Wetzel.

* WHEN...Through this evening.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
  creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
  Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas.
