...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 5 AM WEDNESDAY TO
5 PM PDT THURSDAY ABOVE 3000 FEET...

* WHAT...Snow expected above 3000 feet. Total snow accumulations
  between 5 to 11 inches, except 12 to 20 inches above 5500 feet.
  Winds gusting as high as 40 mph.

* WHERE...In Oregon, North Oregon Cascades. In Washington, South
  Washington Cascades.

* WHEN...From 5 AM Wednesday to 5 PM PDT Thursday.

* IMPACTS...Roads, and especially bridges and overpasses, will
  likely become slick and hazardous.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...There is a 10-25% chance for snowfall rates
  exceeding 1 inch per hour along highway 26 near Government Camp at
  any given hour, with the highest chances occurring between 6 PM
  Wednesday and 12 AM Thursday.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Have a winter emergency driving kit readily available. Common items
to include: flashlight, batteries, blankets, a shovel, water,
non-perishable food items, tire chains, etc.

Be aware that walking surfaces may be slick. Walk with extra care.
