This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of western and north
central New York.

.DAY ONE...This afternoon and tonight.

Wind gusts may reach or exceed 40 mph this afternoon through
tonight along and behind a strong cold front.

There is a marginal risk for severe thunderstorms late this
afternoon and evening.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday.

Another period of strong winds are possible later Friday through
Friday night, with gusts over 45 mph possible.

...Brief Localized Strong Wind Gusts Possible Through Early This
Evening...

A cold front will generate some additional showers and perhaps a
couple isolated thunderstorms as it crosses far western New York
between late this afternoon and early this evening. A few of the
heavier showers and any storms may produce brief localized strong
winds...with gusts to over 50 mph possible in a few locations.
