This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for northeast Georgia and the
western Carolinas.

.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.

A few strong to severe storms may develop this afternoon and
evening, mainly along and west of I-26. The main hazards with any
severe storms that develop are damaging wind gusts and large hail.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday.

Strong to severe storms are possible Tuesday evening into Tuesday
night across the western Carolinas and northeast Georgia. Confidence
on the severe threat is low as activity is expected to weaken as it
pushes across the North Carolina mountains. The main hazards with
any severe storms that develop are damaging wind gusts and large
hail. However, an isolated, brief tornado cannot be entirely ruled
out, mainly across the North Carolina mountains, northeast Georgia,
and the northwestern South Carolina Upstate.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotters are requested to forward any reports of large hail,
damaging winds, or tornadoes to our office.
