This hazardous weather outlook is for Eastern Upper Michigan and
Northern Lower Michigan.

.DAY ONE...Tonight.

A flash freeze is possible later tonight as temperatures plummet
below freezing. The combination of icy roads, in addition to
falling and blowing snow, will lead to hazardous driving
conditions later tonight. See the latest Winter Weather Advisories

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday.

Snow, blowing snow, and strong winds will continue on Friday
across the snowbelts of northern lower and eastern upper Michigan.
Hazardous travel is expected. See the latest Winter Weather
Advisories for additional details.

Additional snow or mixed precipitation chances at times into next
week.

...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 10 PM THIS EVENING
TO 1 PM EST FRIDAY...

* WHAT...Snow developing late. Total snow accumulations between 1
  and 3 inches. Winds gusting as high as 40 mph leading to blowing
  snow.

* WHERE...Western Chippewa County.

* WHEN...From 10 PM this evening to 1 PM EST Friday.

* IMPACTS...Rapidly falling temperatures later tonight will lead to
  icy road conditions. Gusty winds combined with falling snow will
  result in very poor visibilities at times tonight into Friday.
  Gusty winds could bring down tree branches and cause isolated
  power outages. The hazardous conditions will impact the Friday
  morning commute.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Slow down and use caution while traveling.

During lake effect snow, the weather can vary from bands of locally
heavy snow to dry weather just a few miles away. Visibilities can
also vary greatly. Be prepared for rapid changes in weather,
visibility, and road conditions.
