...WINTER STORM WARNING IN EFFECT FROM 7 PM THIS EVENING TO 1 AM EST
FRIDAY...

* WHAT...Heavy snow expected. Total snow accumulations between 6 and
  10 inches. Winds gusting as high as 40 mph.

* WHERE...Central Piscataquis, Northern Penobscot, Northwest
  Aroostook, and Northern Piscataquis Counties.

* WHEN...From 7 PM this evening to 1 AM EST Friday.

* IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult.  The hazardous
  conditions could impact the Thursday morning and evening
  commutes.  Strong winds could cause extensive damage to trees and
  power lines

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Winter Storm Warning for snow means severe winter weather
conditions will make travel extremely dangerous. If you must travel,
keep an extra flashlight, food, and water in your vehicle in case of
an emergency.
