...FLOOD WATCH NOW IN EFFECT THROUGH SATURDAY AFTERNOON...

* WHAT...Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be
  possible.

* WHERE...Portions of western Massachusetts, including the following
  areas, Berkshire, east central New York, including the following
  areas, Albany, Columbia, Greene, Rensselaer, Schenectady, Ulster,
  Schoharie, Southern Saratoga,  and southern Vermont, including the
  following areas, Bennington and Windham Counties.

* WHEN...Through Saturday afternoon.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
  creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
  Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - With a humid air mass remaining in place, additional rounds
    of showers and thunderstorms with heavy downpours Saturday
    morning into early afternoon will lead to an increased risk
    for flash flooding. Urban, low lying and poor drainage areas
    will be most susceptible to flooding.
