Increasing tropical moisture will lead to more widespread showers and thunderstorms today. These will be capable of producing frequent lightning and outflow winds gusting 40-50 mph. Additionally, slow storm motions and a saturated atmosphere will lead to an increased heavy rain threat, as well as localized flash flooding concerns in prone areas. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday. Moisture peaks Thursday, with an increased risk of heavy rain and flash flooding. Drier conditions return for Friday into the weekend, with a gradual warming trend returning temperatures to near or above normal by Monday. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...
