...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 6 PM THIS EVENING
TO 9 PM MDT WEDNESDAY...

* WHAT...Snow expected. Total snow accumulations between 3 and 10
  inches. Winds gusting as high as 45 mph.

* WHERE...Rabbit Ears Pass, Rocky Mountain National Park, the
  Medicine Bow Range, the Mountains of Summit County, the Mosquito
  Range, and the Indian Peaks.

* WHEN...From 6 PM this evening to 9 PM MDT Wednesday.

* IMPACTS...Roads will become slippery in spots, especially through
  mountain passes. Travel could be difficult. The hazardous
  conditions will impact the Tuesday evening and Wednesday morning
  commutes.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Slow down and use caution while traveling. The latest road conditions
for Colorado can be obtained by calling 5 1 1 or by going to
www.cotrip.org.

Roads will be slick resulting in slow and hazardous travel. Allow
extra time to reach your destination.

This hazardous weather outlook is for northeast and north central
Colorado.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

Snow showers will develop over the mountains through the afternoon,
with scattered rain showers elsewhere. Snow increases over the
mountains becoming widespread late tonight.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday

Snow continues over the mountains Wednesday with rain showers
likely in the mountain valleys. The rain showers spread east onto
the Front Range and eastern plains Wednesday afternoon and
evening. If traveling in the mountains late tonight and Wednesday,
roads may become snow-covered and slippery, especially over the
mountain passes.
