This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for northwest Colorado, southwest
Colorado, west central Colorado, east central Utah, northeast Utah
and southeast Utah.

.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.

Isolated to widely scattered thunderstorm development is possible
today. Gusty outflow winds and lightning are the main threats.
Significant snow accumulations are likely at higher elevations
through the evening over most mountain locations. Travel may be
impacted during the overnight and morning hours due to icy or snow
packed conditions. Roadways should recover during the warmer hours of
the afternoon. Freezing temperatures overnight can be expected in the
valleys where sensitive vegetation and irrigation operations could be
impacted.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday.

Another cold storm is expected to end out the week with more mountain
snow and possibly some lighter accumulations in many of the valleys.
Freezing temperatures in the lower elevations should also be planned
for through the weekend.
